Supply of ATCA shelves based on the PICMG standard for the ATLAS and CMS experiments upgrades
CERN intends to place a contract for the design, production and delivery of about 250 ATCA shelves based on the PICMG standard for the ATLAS and CMS experiments upgrades, to be delivered over a period of five years with the main production occurring during the first two years.
Interested firms must have proven competence and experience in the design and production of ATCA chassis and components, and employ technical employees specialized in the field of electronics, electrical and/or mechanical design, assembly, production and/or testing.
