Call for tender (CFT) covering the delivery of a plant that is capable of coating mirrors of a diameter between 0.7 and 4.3 meters.
The scope of work includes the design, manufacturing, assembly and testing of the plant at the contractor’s facilities, installation of the plant in Paranal, Chile and, as an option, the provision of remote assistance services.
The CFT will be released in Q3/2020 to potential suppliers in the ESO Member States and in Chile.
The contract is expected to be awarded in Q3/2021 to the Bidder, which has submitted a fully compliant tender and offers the best value for money for ESO, taking into account the quality and price of the tender.
