With over 4 500 employees (Power People), Sii is the top IT & engineering services provider in Poland. Since entering the market in 2006 as a one-person start-up, Sii has constantly and dynamically grown, gaining trust of major companies from around the globe. Through hard work, skills and dedication, the company earned reputation of an expert and a market leader.

Sii support its clients within the scope of testing, software development, infrastructure management as well as system integration and system maintenance. We execute various projects for leading worldwide companies from sectors such as banking and finance, insurance, telecommunications, Hi-Tech, utilities, industry, FMCG and many others.

Experience

In the summer of 2005, Grègoire Nitot decided to establish an IT services company in Poland, created a business plan and started looking for investors. Sii Groupe entrusted him with EUR 70,000, constituting 70% of the initial capital. The remaining 30% comes from Grègoire's savings - this is how Sii Poland is created.

The first seat of the newly opened Sii Polska company becomes Warsaw, where the company's headquarters are still located today. Sii has been developing very dynamically over the years. From one-person activity it became a company employing over 4500 employees in 14 locations all over Poland as of now.

The development was made possible by the geographical proximity of candidates, employees and clients in each location, however, what contributed to the annual 30% growth of the company are the Competence Centres, which focus on selected technological areas, associate specialists from a given technology or domain and carry out projects for clients in various models of cooperation. This allows the company to provide comprehensive customer service - our strategy is one-stop-shop idea. Owing to this, Sii serves over 200 Polish and foreign clients. Apart from technological knowledge, we also have expertise from various sectors and we willingly advise our clients on how to pass the digitalization process without any influence on the production.

Experience in Big Science projects

Sii has an experience in cooperation with R&D entities. An example of such cooperation might be Qiagen (QIAGEN is a provider of sample and assay technologies for molecular diagnostics, applied testing, academic and pharmaceutical research). One of the projects we conducted in cooperation with Qiagen was improvement of software quality and delivery for 2 medical instruments (robots). The result of this project was the successful development of instruments and providing the client with full software and a graphic user interface.
The second example is ABB, where SII is part of the team designing and implementing new solutions for electric chargers.

As IT service provider we can support our partners in software development and maintenance. Sii also offers advanced solutions within the scope of industrial engineering, process control and production management. Within Sii’s structure we have built 16 Competency Centres - units having people on board with knowledge and experience in the same technology. These people are responsible for taking care of technology-specific projects, including Analysts, Architects, Developers up to testers and Quality Assurance teams. With the help of competence centres, we are able to provide our customers with comprehensive services in many IT areas, as well as engineering services.
