Announcement:
Supply including design, installation, testing and commissioning of ventilation systems for SF, SHM and SE buildings and smoke extraction systems for the HL-LHC Project. (01030201, 01030202)
CERN intends to place four contracts. Two contracts will cover the design, supply, installation and commissioning of ventilation systems for the High Luminosity project at CERN, including installations in Point 1 (Switzerland) and Point 5 (France) of the LHC accelerator. The contracts will include the HVAC system for surface buildings (10.000-60.000 m3/h), for underground areas (5.000-12.000 m3/h), for airlock systems (500-1.000 m3/h) and safety room (1.500-2.500 m3/h); moreover one of these contracts will include the smoke extraction system from the underground area. These two contracts are estimated to start the installation phase in 2021 and 2022 respectively. The commissioning phase for both is estimated to take place in 2024. CERN further intends to place two framework contracts for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of industrial ventilation and air conditioning systems for technical infrastructures (halls, caverns, tunnels and surface technical buildings dedicated to physics) on the CERN site (both the French and Swiss parts), with a flow rate between 500 and 60.000 m3/h. The two contracts will have an initial duration of five years.
Interested firms shall have proven competence and experience in design, supply, installation and commissioning of complex industrial ventilation and air conditioning systems.
