Announcement:

Civil engineering works for the design and construction of the new Building 3562 situated on CERN’s Point 5 site in France

CERN intends to place a contract for the design and construction of new Building 3562 situated on CERN’s Point 5 site on the French part of the CERN site. The building will host the new control room for the CMS experiment and will comprise a single storey building with a separate visitor gallery with a footprint of approximately 350 square metres. The building structure will consist of concrete and steel and the facade will be composed of standard windows and cladding. The works are scheduled to begin in Q2 2021 with the building being completed for taking over in Q1 2023.

Interested firms shall have a proven experience and competence in design and build contracts of a similar nature including technical studies, road works and networks, structural trades, interior finishes and electrical and mechanical installations.
