Announcement:

Supply of LYSO crystals for the Phase II upgrade of the CMS MIP Timing Detector (MTD)

CERN intends to place a contract for the supply of LYSO crystals for the Phase II upgrade of the CMS MIP Timing Detector (MTD) detector. The supply will include manufacturing of radiation-hard crystals, wrapping with reflective layers and assembly into arrays of 16 crystals. The contract is expected to start by beginning of 2021.

Interested firms or groups of firms shall have a proven experience and relevant references in the manufacturing and assembly of LYSO crystals, wrapping and assembly into arrays of 16 crystals.
