Announcement:

Supply, installation and commissioning of a vacuum furnace, applied for vacuum brazing and heat treatments (05030400)

CERN intends to place a contract for the supply, installation and commissioning of a vacuum furnace, applied for vacuum brazing and heat treatments, with the following main characteristics: vertical vessel construction, all-Metal Hot Zone, useful volume: Ø400 mm, height: around 500 mm, max. temperature (continous operation): 1300°C, max. temperature deviation in useful volume (600°C-1300°C): ±5°C, ultimate vacuum (cold furnace): <10^-6 mbar, gas supply for heat treatment under inert gas (Ar) 0-1000 mbar, load thermocouples, viewport and HMI with WinCC surface and data acquisition.

Interested firms shall have the furnace in their standard portfolio and have constructed at least 10 all-metal furnaces during the last five years.
