Announcement:

Supply and installation of an helium cryogenic distribution system for building SM18, on the French part of CERN, to test components of the High Luminosity Project

CERN intends to place a contract for the design, manufacture and installation of a helium cryogenic distribution system consisting of one cryogenic valve box and four high performance thermally shielded cryogenic transfer lines each including several process pipes with lengths from 5 to 40 m. The vacuum jackets are ranging from DN150 to DN450. The whole instrumentation (sensors, cryogenic valves, safety valves) and control system will be specified and supplied by CERN.

Interested firms shall have a proven experience and competence in the design and manufacture of cryogenic valve boxes and shielded transfer lines for the supply of liquid helium.
