Announcement:

Provision of acoustic emission tests for the re-qualification of pressure vessels and pressure bottles containing helium gas on the CERN sites

CERN intends to place a contract for the re-qualification by acoustic emission tests of 51 vertical 80m3 pressure vessels; 58 horizontal 250m3 pressure vessels and 52 horizontal 1 m3 high pressure bottles containing helium gas. The interventions will take place on the CERN site (both the French and Swiss parts of the CERN site) between 2020-2025 (inclusive).

Interested firms shall have a proven experience and competence in the qualification of pressure equipment by acoustic emission testing and sensor installation by rope access on large pressure vessels.
